Victorian Workcover Authority - 171 - 191 Hammond Street, Essendon Fields

A 2,017.8sqm portion of the Beaufort Building North was recently refurbished for the Victorian Workcover Authority (Worksafe) as a training centre and inspector work base. The fitout aimed to maximum comfort and usability for Workcover by providing acoustic lined ceilings reducing noise, vast open common areas for workers and integrated intelligent lighting systems providing energy efficiency. The exposed internal steelwork was retained and repainted to provide a consistent feature running throughout the space. Workcover staff from Bell Street, Preston and the CBD were relocated to make use of the new Essendon Fields facility.
