Hang on to your (construction) hats
The expansion of Tullamarine Freeway, associated with the redevelopment of the Tullamarine Calder Interchange (TCI) has seen the demolition of an existing hangar and the reduction in size in a second hangar at Essendon Airport.
The demolition follows the construction of four new hangars that will accommodate displaced users, and respond to the increased demand for modern aircraft storage space. Each new hangars can accommodation two Bombardair Global Express executive jets.
A new road has been built providing direct vehicle access to each of the new hangars.
